Bukovox is operated by Bukovox LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using bukovox.com, you agree to this policy.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely with encryption). When you use Bukovox, we collect the voice recordings you upload or receive, metadata about those recordings (date, speaker name, relationship, duration), and your profile photo if you choose to upload one. We also collect basic usage data through Google Analytics to understand how people use the service.
We use your information to provide and maintain Bukovox, process your subscription payments, send you account notifications and email updates, and improve the service over time. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your voice recordings are stored securely on Cloudflare R2. They are private to your account and only accessible by you and the senders you explicitly authorize. We do not listen to, analyze, or use your voice recordings for any purpose other than delivering the service to you.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Your data is stored on secure servers with HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers.
Your voice recordings and account data are retained as long as your account is active. If you cancel Premium, you enter a grace period during which you retain access to all your voices. After the grace period ends, voices beyond the 5-voice free limit are locked. After 30 additional days, locked voices are permanently deleted. You will receive email warnings before this happens. You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings, which permanently removes all your data within 30 days.
We use localStorage to manage your login session. We use Google Analytics cookies to collect anonymous usage data. You can decline analytics cookies through the consent banner shown on your first visit. Declining will not affect your ability to use Bukovox.
You can access, update, or delete your personal information at any time through Account Settings. You can download your voice recordings directly from the app. You can delete your entire account and all associated data. To request a full export of your data or ask questions about what we hold, contact us at hello@bukovox.com.
Bukovox is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, contact us at hello@bukovox.com and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting the updated policy on this page with a new date.
