These Terms of Service govern your use of Bukovox, operated by Bukovox LLC. By creating an account or using bukovox.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Bukovox.
Bukovox is a voice preservation platform that lets you collect, store, and listen to voice recordings from the people in your life. You can invite others to send voice messages directly into your vault, and you can record or upload your own voices.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Bukovox. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@bukovox.com. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.
You own the voice recordings and content you upload to Bukovox. By uploading content, you grant Bukovox LLC a limited license to store and deliver that content to you and the people you authorize to access it. We do not claim ownership of your recordings.
You are responsible for the content you upload. You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or that violates another person's privacy or rights. You must have the right to share any content you upload. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.
The free tier allows up to 5 voice recordings. Premium is available at $4.99 per month or $47.88 per year and includes unlimited voice recordings, scheduled voice delivery, batch downloads, and priority support. All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing to Premium, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the selected interval until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Account Settings.
When you cancel Premium, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account enters a grace period during which you retain access to all your voices.
After the grace period ends, voices beyond the 5-voice free limit will be locked and no longer accessible. After 30 additional days, locked voices are permanently deleted. You will receive email warnings at 7, 3, and 1 day before your grace period ends. We strongly recommend downloading your voices before your grace period ends if you do not plan to reactivate Premium.
We do not offer refunds for subscription payments. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@bukovox.com and we will review your case.
If you change your plan mid-cycle, any unused portion of your current plan is applied as account credit toward future invoices rather than refunded to your payment method. Credits apply automatically and do not expire while your account is active.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. When you delete your account, all your personal information, voice recordings, and account data are permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.

We aim to keep Bukovox available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.
Bukovox LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of Bukovox after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Illinois.
