1. Go to the Trusted Senders tab
2. Click "+ Add Sender"
3. Enter their name and relationship type
4. Share the generated link with them
5. They record or upload through the link
6. The recording lands in your Voice Vault
They don't need a Bukovox account.
Relationship type helps you organize your senders. Options include Spouse/Partner, Parent, Child, Sibling, Grandparent, Friend, and Other. This helps you find and filter voices in your vault by who sent them.
Yes. Go to Trusted Senders, find the person, and click "Revoke." They will no longer be able to send you new recordings. Any recordings they already sent will remain in your vault (you can delete those separately if you wish).
Free accounts can record up to 3 minutes per voice. Premium accounts can record up to 10 minutes. You can record directly in your browser or upload audio files in MP3, WAV, OGG, or M4A format.
Yes! Both vault owners and trusted senders can schedule recordings for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, and more. Scheduled delivery is a Premium feature. Recurring messages can repeat every year on the same date. You can schedule up to 10 years in advance.
Yes. You can play and download any of your voice recordings at any time from the Voice Vault.
Premium ($4.99/month or $47.88/year — save 20%) gives you unlimited voice recordings, up to 10-minute recordings, unlimited senders, scheduled voice delivery, batch download, and priority support. Free accounts are limited to 5 voice recordings and 3 senders.
You keep Premium access until the end of your billing period plus a 14-day grace period. During this time you can download all your voices. After the grace period, voices beyond your 5-voice free limit will be locked. We recommend downloading your voices before the grace period ends.
Yes. Your recordings are private to your account. We never listen to, analyze, or share your recordings. Only you and the people you choose to share with can access them. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
No. Senders can only record and send messages. They cannot see your vault, other senders, or any messages from other people. Each sender link is unique and only allows uploading.
Yes. Go to Account Settings and select Delete. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data, including all voice recordings, sender configurations, and personal information. This action cannot be undone.
Check that your file is in a supported format (MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A), is within the recording limit (3 minutes free, 10 minutes Premium), and your internet connection is stable. If you are on the free tier, make sure you have not reached the 5 voice limit. If the problem continues, contact support.
